In case you didn't read the official announcement:

"Hostboard will be moving to our newly developed system on Jan 28th. Because of this Hostboard will be off line for the entire day and re-opening on the 29th."

This also means that the URL (Web Address) for this place WILL change, and it will most likely be a bit UGLY for a few days while I redesign the graphics and such, since I'll finally be able to play with the buttons and things.

I'll let you know more as soon as I know more.

According to the Hostboard people, everythng but the graphics and color settings and address will stay intact.

That means everyone's handles, post counts, and all the posts and threads are supposed to be moved over.

And no news yet on what exactly the URLs will be. I think that most likely www.hostboard.com will still be the opening page, so we'll be able to find it through that until we update our bookmarks.

that has always been possible...only through a request to the administrator. In the future however the moderator will be able to do it him/herself.

Also it is said that it will be possible to give members from YOUR messageboard a status PER messageboard. So if your a new member at THIS mb you will be an 'elf' and when you have say 100 posts you are a 'goblin' and when you have 500 posts at that specific MB you can get to be a 'Crawler Extaordinair...' for instance...

And changeable nicks per forum (including avatars...)
